Lucas is a Senior forward finishing his 3rd year as a varsity player for Lake Orion.  He started playing organized hockey at seven, spending five years as a Rochester Rattler before playing a year for both Orchard Lake United and the Macomb Mavericks.  Lucas started his Sophomore year on the JV team before being pulled up to Varsity part way through the season.  In his first full season as a junior, he was a key contributor to the Dragons 2nd consecutive OAA Championship, centering the power play, and playing key minutes in big games during the playoffs.  He was elected Captain of the Dragons this year, and along with Thomas Reath and Kade Manzo is a part of one of the highest scoring forward lines in the OAA.  As the end of the season rolls around, he looks forward to the opportunity to help the Dragons have a great playoff run.

Of all his years playing hockey, being a Dragon has meant the most to Lucas, as playing for his school has been the highlight of his career.

Off the ice Lucas enjoys hanging out with his friends, following the Pittsburgh Steelers, the NBA, and being out on the boat on Lake Orion in the summers.  Although he’s still deciding between multiple schools, Lucas is leaning towards attending Hope College in the fall where he will pursue a business degree, as well as continue playing hockey for Hope’s team.
