Jimmy, a Senior forward, is playing in his second year as a member of the Lake Orion Varsity team.  He came to the Dragons after playing travel hockey for the Lakeland Hawks.  As a first year varsity player last season, Jimmy quickly earned significant ice time, contributing via his play on multiple lines and special teams.  His speed and skating ability have made him a versatile member of the Dragons, positively impacting games in many ways.  This season he has continued his ‘Swiss Army Knife’ contributions by scoring goals, being defensively sound, and helping provide leadership to the younger players.

Off the ice, Jimmy loves to play fortnight with friends, and anything to do with computers.  He also enjoys playing pond hockey regardless of conditions, is a huge sports fan, and looks forward to his brother coming home from college so the whole family can play golf together.  Jimmy loves dogs, and has an especially strong bond with his dog Connor.

Jimmy is actually not from Michigan, in fact, he was born in Texas.  As a young kid, he once gave a rodeo clown a run for his money, and would likely have ridden rodeos had his family not moved to Michigan.
