Lake Orion Hockey

Josh is a Senior defenseman and first year Varsity player for the Dragons.  Prior to joining the team this year he played 3 years on the Lake Orion JV team, where he served as team captain as a Junior.  Although only learning to play hockey as a 10 year-old, Josh was on a number of house and travel teams before playing for Lake Orion his Freshman year.  Josh’s hard-nosed, physical style is a welcome addition to the Dragon defensive corps, forcing opponents to ‘keep their head on a swivel’ when entering the Lake Orion zone.

In the classroom, Josh has been a scholar athlete for each of his three years in high school.  In addition to being a strong student, he has been a part of the Television Production Workshop for the last 2 years, directing and producing several LOAM TV shows during this time.  As a part of his producing responsibilities, Josh has spent many hours after school obtaining film of various Lake Orion sports to help create highlights for the shows.   

After graduation Josh will be attending Western Michigan University in the fall to study Business Management.

Off the ice, Josh enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on his truck, and hanging out up North at the family cottage.
