Summer Hockey To Begin In June
The High School Hockey Summer Season is set to begin in June and run through the end of July.
Lake Orion will field both a Varsity and JV team that will once again participate in the Great Lakes Summer Hockey League that consists of 24 local high schools. Games will be played around the metro area at Detroit Skate Club, Orchard Lake St. Mary's, and Novi ice arenas. The Varsity team will also participate in the Muskegon West Coast Shootout the weekend of July 18-20th.
Evaluation skates for Varsity will take place:
Tuesday, June 3rd: 6:45-8:15pm at The Onyx
Wednesday, June 4th: 5:30-7pm at The Onyx
$15 per session
Evaluation saktes for JV will take place:
Wednesday, June 11th: 6:15pm-7:45pm at The Onyx
Thursday, June 12th: 6:45pm-8:15pm at The Onyx
$15 per session
In order to play summer hockey you must attend the evaluation skates unless excused by coaches.
